Finding Tenants

:: Marketing
Effective and professional marketing is one of the keys to success.

Every property placed with Covehome Property Management is made available through all of our offices and our computerised system immediately shows our staff all the available properties enabling applicants to have a choice tailored to their requirements.

Covehome Property Management promote extensively both by direct contact with tenant sources and by maintaining a constant presence in local and regional press. We also have a website which is updated daily. Our excellent relationship with major employers in the region provide a constant source of reliable tenants.

:: Viewings
Viewings of all vacant properties are accompanied by one of our experienced staff and are either taken to or met at selected properties which meet the applicants requirements.

If you are still living in the property any visits are strictly by appointment and will always be accompanied by a member of staff.Top of the Page

:: References and Guarantors
All applicants are carefully screened, references taken up and credit checks made. In certain circumstances a guarantor may be required. All applicants are finally approved by a director or senior member of our staff.

:: Inventories & Schedules of Condition
Before the tenants move in, one of our experienced Property Inspectors will prepare a detailed Inventory and Schedule of Condition. This important document provides a comprehensive record of the contents and condition of the property and is vital to avoid differences of opinion during or at the end of the tenancy.

:: The Tenancy Agreement
Covehome Property Management’s Tenancy Agreement, which has been drawn up in conjunction with specialist property lawyers, is carefully worded to protect the landlord’s rights and interests. The Tenancy Agreement complies with the Housing Act of 1988 and when a letting is arranged to a company it follows contract law.Top of the Page
